The SWPOA board is made up of 9 voting members and 1 administrator. Each member serves a 3-year term with 3 members rotating each year. All voting members are volunteers and many of have served more than 1 term. If you are interested in learning more about assisting or joining the board, please feel free to reach out or attend the monthly board meetings.

Architectural Review Committee
*Before you paint, install a fence or do other exterior work, you must complete and submit an Improvement Permit Application and receive approval. An Improvement Permit Application is needed to ensure property value and community harmony.
The Architectural Review Committee meets monthly to review forms and discuss specific situations with property owners.

Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
We conduct monthly board meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
As of 2025, our board meetings are held at University Health Lakewood 7900 Lee's Summit Rd, KCMO 64139
Directions to Boardroom;
Park in Lot J and enter the Lakewood Care Center entrance (not the main entrance).
Pass the welcome desk and turn in the hallway to the right to find the elevators.
Go up to the 1st floor (entry is on Ground floor).
Go straight out of the elevator, down the hall past guest services, and take a right.
Take the hallway to the end and turn left.
The Boardroom will be the first room on the left.
