Hello Neighbors! In 2021, the association was able to update 2 out of 3 entrances, but our largest entrance is still in need of work and care.  In an effort to save money for needed pool projects and to build community within our neighborhood, we are organizing a community landscaping day for our large entrance garden bed. We need your help to make it happen! The goal of this landscaping day will be to change out the mulch, trim plants and clean up the area to prep for the next spring when we can plant some new plants. If you are able to volunteer, please click the link below to sign up.

Get the Mulch

We will be picking up free mulch from the leaf and brush drop off site at 10301 Raytown Rd KCMO. We need at least 1 truck to pick up mulch starting at 8am.

Cut an edged boarder

Over the years, the edge of the planter bed has grown due to no defined edge. We can cut in a defined edge with a flat head shovel and spray weed killer to prevent grass from over growing.

Tree trimming

The trees at our entrances need trimming since it has been a few years. We need a volunteer to trim the trees and make them look tidy.

Remove old mulch

After years of build up, we need to remove the old mulch and built up trash. To make this job faster we need a second truck and wheel barrels, shovels, etc.

Trim/Remove plants

Some of the plants in the bed have overgrown and others have died. We are going to trim the plants and remove the dead ones and prep the plants for winter so they look better come next spring.

Wash stone signs

Our monuments are in need of a good scrub. We need volunteers with a pressure washer to spray down the monuments.

October 15, 2022 @ 8am to 12pm

Come help us make our neighborhood beautiful.

We'd Love to have as many volunteers as possible.
